Vee's CHRISTMAS BLEND

Also this year, Vee's offers an exquisite Christmas roast at the end of the year, Vee's Christmas Blend. It consists of the best beans from an exclusive selection of our preferred countries of origin, such as Guatemala, Ethiopia, Kenya and Indonesia's Sumatra Island.From Guatemala, we only use exquisite beans of the Arabica Bourbon variety in the Antigua region of San Sebastian, the best and most famous coffee plantation in the region. The valleys of Antigua are surrounded by several volcanoes which offer excellent climatic conditions and fertile soil at an altitude of approximately 1500 meters. Arabica bourbon is a very original variety, a mutation from the end of the 18th century, first cultivated on the island of Reunion, with intense chocolate flavours.
Ethiopia was the birthplace of coffee and this dates back to the 6th century AD. The beans of the Arabica Hairloom variety, the oldest and most genetically diverse coffee plant, offer an overwhelming variety of aromas reminiscent of blueberries, jasmine and intensely floral scent. The Ethiopian Yirgacheffe used by us unfolds an intense blueberry flavour.
At the beginning of the last century, an ingenious Arabica variety was bred in Kenya, by crossing Arabica bourbon and Arabica hairloom which is now known to specialists as Arabica Scott Lab 28 (SL 28) and it is considered to be the best coffee from Kenya. SL 28 is intensely fruity with aromas of red wine, cherries and dark berries.
Sumatran coffee of the Arabica Catimor variety is a cross-breed between Arabica Caturra, an Arabica Bourbon mutation (from around 1930), and an Arabusta variety from Timor, and it has been cultivated since the late 19th century. Vee's ecologically grown Sumatra gives our Christmas Blend body and complexity with intense syrup-like aromas of spices, forest soil, tobacco and tropical woods.
Vee's Christmas Blend is extremely complex and harmoniously balanced with aromas of nuts, dark berries, tropical woods and chocolate.
